On the 18th of June we were issued with our ISO27001 certificate for our Information Security Management System (ISMS) supporting the provision of software and related services in the healthcare sector. A fundamental aspect of IT governance is the protection of information – its availability, confidentiality and integrity – on which everything else depends. Our ISMS has now been certified as providing this key piece of information governance by BSi and you can verify our certificate electronincally here.

As part of our ISO27001 (information security management system) accreditation process we now have a page on the website that states our Information Security Policy for certain aspects such as email.

Many thanks to all of those who participated in our recent customer satisfaction survey run as part of the Microsoft Partner programme.

We really appreciate the feedback and are very happy with the results. Some key points in the survey were:

• We scored 194/200 on overall customer satisfaction (Microsoft partners average 168)
• 100% of the respondents were satisfied with our products
• 100% of the respondents were likely to recommend us to others
• 100% of the respondents were likely to repurchase from us
• 100% of the respondents felt they had a competitive advantage due to our products
• Overall quality of our products was rated at 94% (Microsoft partners average 70%)

 We will continue to strive to create products and provide services that maintain the high standards that our customers obviously expect from us.

 

 

FrontDesk V2.5 (in beta on 23/6/2008) includes support for the 58.5 QOF points available for the Patient Access Survey, part of the Patient Experience domain. Practices will be assessed based on patient satisfaction when attempting to book appointments within the next 48 hours and also when booking appointments more than 2 days ahead. Enabling an option in FrontDesk permits practices to enable or force the collection of additional information by practice staff when booking appointments which allows the practice to get an idea of their ability to meet patient requests for appointments and hence a guide towards their possible ratings in this QOF area. Depending on how the final points are assessed and allocated, it may also give the practice some defensible metrics to use as evidence to dispute an unexpected outcome in this valuable part of the QOF.

Contract+ V2.5 (in beta on 23/6/2008) now includes support for the changes in the 2008/2009 GMS contract. This includes "development" support for the new and changed indicators as described in the publicly available documentation. The official rulesets have not yet been released and so this version includes a "best guess" at the final logic based on the final guidance issued to GPs.
